In July 2017, IOCC opened a medical office in Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan. This is IOCC's first office in a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan, as the rest of our work is done in urban centers — where the majority of refugees live — in order to help both refugees and their host communities.

IOCC is extremely distressed and saddened to learn of the October 1 mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, reportedly the deadliest in US history. We are actively monitoring the situation as official reports come in. Please pray with us for all those affected by this tragedy.

Less than a week after Harvey struck the Houston area, Hurricane Irma moved across the Caribbean leaving devastation in its wake. Among the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean, Irma made landfall on the Florida Keys on Sunday, September 10th.
