“For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” ~ John 6:33

There are over one million Syrian refugees in Lebanon (UNHCR). In other words, one in four people in Lebanon is a Syrian refugee. This puts a huge strain on Lebanon's ability to provide food, shelter, clean water and education to those in need. Without any legal way to work in Lebanon, refugees struggle just to provide basic needs for their families.

With your support, IOCC has provided health screenings for over 1,000 Syrian children living in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. Our staff works with primary health care providers to identify those who are at risk of malnutrition and to offer treatment, including a high-protein, high-calorie food diet to boost rapid weight gain and promote healthy development.

Please consider making a donation today so we can live the word this Lent and continue to ensure the health and well-being of Syria's youngest refugees in Lebanon and children in need around the world.
