New IOCC Metropolitan Committee!

Members of Philadelphia's Orthodox Christian community met with IOCC on Saturday, June 11, 2011, for the launch of the city's first Metropolitan Committee. More than a dozen volunteers representing seven Philadelphia area Orthodox parishes gathered for the mixer and committee orientation. These committees are comprised of volunteers from major U.S. metropolitan areas who are dedicated to raising awareness and funds in support of IOCC's domestic and international relief programs.
The Philadelphia Metropolitan Committee is actively seeking additional volunteers in the Philadelphia metropolitan area to join the newly formed group. The committee's first public event will be a wine tasting held this fall – stay tuned for more details!
