Cicero, IL (IOCC) — On Super Bowl Sunday, the teen group (Teen SOYO) at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cicero, IL, organized a chili lunch and raised $500 for IOCC. The teens collected donations after Liturgy while standing at the exit doors holding big soup pots. The individuals who donated were given a ticket to be exchanged for a bowl of chili in the parish fellowship hall.

The Chili was made by volunteers of St. George and the parish representative of the Chicago Metropolitan Committee helped organize the event. The Committee is comprised of volunteers throughout the Chicago area who host events throughout the year to help advance the mission of IOCC.
