Pittsburgh, PA
Third Annual John G. Rangos Golf Scramble
June 3, 2006

The IOCC Metropolitan Committee of Pittsburgh held its Third Annual John G. Rangos Golf Scramble on June 3rd at the Lindenwood Golf Club in McMurray, PA. Over fifty enthusiastic golfers enjoyed the challenging course and banquet. New to this year’s scramble was the shot-gun start which minimized wait time. The first place winners were Jason Genin, Russ Blackstone, Mo Husainy, and Mark Bracken. Nearly $800 worth of prizes were raffled and auctioned following dinner. Some of the auction prizes included home-opener Steeler tickets and a collectible golf poster signed by local golf celebrity Arnold Palmer. Sylvia Araj representing the Baltimore office gave an excellent overview of IOCC’s mission of compassion.

The Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the generous participants as well as the many sponsors. The net proceeds for IOCC was a record $5,165! This year’s attendance increased over last year’s event, and it is hoped that this loyal base will continue to expand with each tournament.
