The Cleveland Metropolitan Committee Goes to BAT for International Orthodox Christian Charities

In late spring the Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Christian Charities decided to have "IOCC Night at Jacob's Field", which is home to the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Friday, September 15th, was chosen as the date and arrangements were made with the Cleveland Indians Group Sales Team to buy 150 tickets.

Seats were in the mezzanine and IOCC parish representatives worked hard to sell the tickets. With everyone's help, all the tickets were sold and the profit for IOCC was $ 1,200.00.

Our evening at the ballpark was great in so many ways. The weather was beautiful and the fellowship was very enjoyable. The Indians won the game in 10 innings, with a score of 5 runs for the Indians, and 4 runs for the Minnesota Twins. After the ballgame, the Cleveland Indians' management treated the crowd to 20 minute display of fireworks. The evening was a joyful, entertaining time. What a wonderful way to support the work of IOCC!
