Emergency Kit Drive

After the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, the Albuquerque Metropolitan Committee gathered together to plan an emergency kit drive to help those in need. The committee worked in conjunction with Orthodox churches in Albuquerque and Santa Fe where their combined efforts led to assembling 288 kits and donating $1,557.59 to IOCC's International Emergency Response Fund. The event was a huge success; it brought together the committee, and pan Orthodox community in New Mexico.
